Recently, the Math Olympic Team of Fire Prevention University participated in the 32nd National Student Math Olympiad in 2026 held at Quy Nhon University - Gia Lai with the participation of 90 delegations, 661 elite students and 771 competitions.
This is a prestigious academic playground, bringing together many universities, academies and training facilities across the country, especially with the presence of many units with traditional strengths in Mathematics training.
Participating in this year's exam, the University of Fire Prevention and Control sent 07 students to compete in the two contents of Calculus and Algebra. In particular, although it is not a specialized training facility in Mathematics, the delegation still boldly registered to compete in Group A - a highly competitive exam group, for schools with strengths and specializing in Math training such as Hanoi University of Education, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education... and large technical universities such as University of Natural Sciences - Hanoi National University, University of Technology - Hanoi National University, University of Science and Technology. – Ho Chi Minh City National University, Hanoi Polytechnic University and many units with Mathematics departments across the country.
More proud, among the People's Public Security and People's Army schools this year, there is only the University of Fire Prevention and Control that registered to compete in Group A. This not only shows the determination to demonstrate the spirit of pioneering confidence, bravery and aspiration, daring to try to conquer challenges, but also affirms the high level of academic capacity of the participating delegation of the University of Fire Prevention and Fighting.
During the exam process, the students raised their sense of responsibility, seriousness, solidarity, calmness and tried their best in each part of the exam. In the end, the Fire Prevention University Olympic Team was awarded 2 Consolation prizes by the Organizing Committee. Although they have not won major awards, the group has left many good impressions with the spirit of inquiry, active learning, communication and determination to improve.
